Es ist noch nicht so lange her, da sah ich, als ich für Caliente live im Studio stand, im Studio nebenan die beiden Kappenträger Gil Scott-Heron und Gerald Travnicek im Gespräch, Gil Scott-Heron hatte ein Fender Rhodes vor sich, er sang, ich konnte es nicht hören. Gil Scott-Heron hat seine Kappe abgegeben. (* 1. April 1949 in Chicago; † 27. Mai 2011 in New York City). Gil Scott-Heron war in den 70ern auch einer der Innovatoren der urbanen Street-Rumba, einer seiner bekanntesten Stücke “The Bottle” basiert auf und Atmet den Guaguancó.
