Willkommen auf der offenen See des BIG EASY, darf ich bitten, die Show hat begonnen: Die Orchester und Conjuntos des Caliente Cruisers Ernest Bornemann spielen auf ..!.. Diese zwei Stunden widmen wir Ernest Bornemann (1915-1995), jenem oft nur mehr als Sexualforscher bekannten Zeitgenossen des 20. Jahrhunderst, der durch seine Arbeit als Jazzkritiker beim Melody Maker den jungen Joachim-Ernst Berendt, dazu brachte die Karibik zu bereisen und von dort aus zu erkennen, dass die Geschichte des Jazz neu zu schreiben ist.
